Juliana Nash is a globally recognized and award-nominated songwriter, singer and performance coach. She has been teaching vocal technique, songwriting and performance coaching since 1992.

From her days leading the indie rock group Talking to Animals, soloing with singers like Sarah McLachlan and Bonnie Raitt at Lilith Fairs, to co-writing the acclaimed rock musical Murder Ballad, which has been performed across Asia, the U.S., and Europe, Juliana has demonstrated her tremendous unique talents as a singer, songwriter and vocal coach.

She is currently teaching at The Rock Academy (one of the original School’s of Rock) in Woodstock, NY and loves teaching her talented students.

 

 

CREDITS, AWARDS & EDUCATION

MURDER BALLAD: Composer and co-lyricist

MURDER BALLAD was produced at Manhattan Theatre Club for their 2012-2013 season. It was then produced at the Union Square Theater for a commercial Off Broadway run in the Spring/Summer of 2013. Murder Ballad was nominated for 7 critics award including Lortels, Drama League and Outer Critics. Murder Ballad has opened in London, Seoul, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai and the U.S. It is still extensively touring throughout Asia and the U.S.


TALKING TO ANIMALS

Lead singer/songwriter & rhythm guitarist for the acclaimed Boston-based rock band “Talking to Animals” from 1989 until 1998. Members include: Bass, Greg Porter, Guitar, Thomas Juliano, Drums, Jay Bellerose and Mike Levesque.

Talking to Animals was signed to Columbia and Velvel records; they toured extensively throughout the US & Canada and were featured in two Lilith Fair tours.
